Had it not been for a Youtube video showcasing a series of new releases this past week, I would have completely missed out on Omensight, a title that kept me entertained for hours, and a game I strongly recommend adding to your library. 

I always enjoy checking out the newest releases on the eshop as I've discovered some fantastic games I've never heard of. Upon one such search, I found Wizard of Legend. Despite its unoriginal name, it looked interesting and so I gave it a shot.

With the re-release of Bayonetta, Mario Kart 8, Pokken Tournament, and several titles to come, the most recent port to the Nintendo Switch is that of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, a title that I found to be one of the more disappointing Nintendo games I've played in years. 

I never went to Prom. It just wasn't something I was into. I was more or less a social outcast at school and while my education didn't have me learning alongside a gorgon, vampire, or a poltergeist, I almost wish it would have. Monster Prom is an engaging character-based dating sim that made me chuckle during each and every encounter with its fantastic cast of characters. 

Ever since Destiny 2 launched, the community has been very vocal about the state of the game. Its first expansion, Curse of Osiris, was not well received, and several recent updates have come across as nothing more than half measures. Much of the player base has dropped off and moved on to other games and this latest expansion may not quite have what it takes to lure everyone back, at least presently. 

As I browsed the Nintendo Eshop store for a recent release, I came across Manticore: Galaxy on Fire, a mobile port of a sci-fi space shooter that leaves its microtransactions, wait times, and various free-to-play elements behind. While Manticore is still priced at what I feel is a bit too high, it can still offer an engaging experience.
