“Do you guys not have phones?“
That echoing comment aside, Blizzard Entertainment is looking to venture forward into another mobile product with Warcraft Arclight Rumble, a fast-paced, free-to-play action strategy game built for Android and iOS devices. The game is looking to release before the end of the year.
Warcraft Arclight Rumble sees players battling with Warcraft Minis, according to the official website. The game will feature a “massive single-player campaign” via 70 missions and PVP battles. Multiple modes, such as Conquest, Raid, Dungeons, and Co-Op battles, are set to release alongside the game.
Blizzard has stated that there are over 60 Mini’s to take control over, such as hero characters like Grommash and Jaina Proudmoore. They will range across five playable families: The well-traveled Alliance and Horde, as well as Beast, Undead, and Blackrock. You can level up these heroes and take advantage of special skills and abilities. There will be weekly and monthly challenges as well.
The game is likely to see some sort of Beta in the future, so stay tuned for a date on that.
