Bayonetta 3 will see a release this October 28th. This information comes from a new release date trailer that dropped this morning. Alongside the announcement, a collector’s edition called the Trinity Masquerade Edition, has also been announced.
Bayonetta 3 will see you once again behind the hair-weaving controls of the titular character as she teams up with a few familiar faces, including Viola and other Bayonetta forms. Bayonetta will add another power to her arsenal in the Demon Masquerade, which allows her to blast, stomp, and slam enemies with over-the-top demonic powers. Viola is also shown to be playable in the trailer, wielding a sword as well as a little cat companion named Cheshire. It also seems that Bayonetta will have access to multiple forms of gameplay as she commands a host of demonic creatures.
The original Bayonetta for the Nintendo Switch will also see a separate physical release on September 30th, for $30USD. The Official Nintendo Europe account also tweeted out the contents of the Trinity Masquerade Edition as seen below!
