Nintendo has a vast array of hugely anticipated games set to be announced in the near future. And while we didn’t see anything regarding Metroid Prime 4, Bayonetta 3, or the next game by Monolith Soft, we did finally see some gameplay of Breath of the Wild 2

Microsoft showed off a lot of their closely held cards with the release date of Starfield, new games in Redfall and Contraband, and Square Enix showed off, well, they came with a much surprised release with Guardians of the Galaxy and Strangers of Paradise.

E3 and many other events are currently underway, with dozens upon dozens of games being announced, shown off, released on new platforms, or remastered. With Covid still disrupting development at many studios all over the world, many of the games announced so far this year have been part of the growing indie scene.

Dedicated retro game fans might remember the original game, which was first released for Atari 8bit computers back in 1983. Or also the PS award-winning “Spelunker HD” that was released for PS3.
