Via a Tweet from the official Witcher account, CD Projekt Red has announced that the next-gen versions of The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, and all its DLC, will no longer being releasing in Q2 of 2022 or anytime soon.
The tweet said the following:
We have decided to have our in-house development team conduct the remaining work on the next-gen version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. We are currently evaluating the scope of work to be done and thus have to postpone Q2 release until further notice. 1/2

Previously, it was reported that Saber Interactive was helming the revised versions, but that doesn’t seem to be the case going forward. The remainder of this task will be brought in-house and handled by CD Projekt themselves.
The next-gen versions were also intended to see improvements to the PC side of the game as well, with a total overhaul of a lot of key visual and technical systems. The game, which originally released back in 2015 has only been made available on current gen consoles due to backwards compatibility, and even saw a release on the Nintendo Switch. The update was previously delayed last year as well, with early 2022 being the target date.
