While the CEO of Gearbox, Randy Pitchford stated that Troy said he turned it down the chance to come back as his character, Rhys, the popular voice actor, and one of the creative minds behind Retro Replay, fired back on Twitter indicated that wasn’t the case at all.

With Nintendo’s recent trend of cash grab mechanics in their latest mobile games, Mario Kart Tour saw its release on iOS and Android this week and what Nintendo has done here borders on insanity. For a company that earlier this year stated they would lessen their direct approach to microtransactions in their mobile games, had fundamentally done the opposite.

This summer, news broke that Spider-Man, a character who’s film rights belong to Sony, would exit the Disney fueled MCU due to negotiations failing between the two companies. This comes off of the stellar release of Spider-Man: Far From Home, which went on to become one of Sony’s highest grossing movies of all time.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare launched a trailer during Sony’s State of Play and in case you missed it as many did, small text popped up after the Special Ops Survival Mode segment ending with “timed exclusive content until October 1, 2020." Indicating that the entire mode will be exclusive to the PlayStation 4 platform for an entire year

Like Sony, Microsoft dumped a decent chunk of game announcements without really setting the world on fire. While nothing here is world exclusives or sought after releases, there is still a good bit to go over and detail just what exactly Xbox had to show off today.

Sony held a State of Play today announcing several key releases and a few smaller titles to its already stellar lineup. While there were not any big surprises, especially considering that Batman: Court of Owls supposed leak, we did finally get a release date for The Last of Us: Part II.

Publisher 2K has stated that its long-awaited release in Borderlands 3 has sold over five million copies during its first five days since the game released on September 13th. This makes the game its fasting selling game in the company’s history.

While it’s been a few years since we’ve had a Terminator game, and even more so since we’ve had a decent one, Terminator: Resistance is set to hopefully deliver when it releases December 3rd, on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam.

Anthem hasn’t had the smoothest reception since its launch earlier this year. Long load times, frequent disconnects, and several issues plagued the game for several weeks and Bioware even had to delay the first wave of additional content.
